So ended up ditching the foam altogether got some fabric from spotlight and got some high temperature glue from bunnings.
I made the mistake of trying to glue on foam and then the lining however didn t workout well.
The foam underneath it stills seems ok its not falling but doesnt seem very strong to be honest but.
