A pressure washer can be a unique piece of equipment for a variety of reasons.
Pressure washer pull cord won t pull.
If there is make sure the level is correct and not over filled.
At times a pull start pressure washer can be very hard to start and when those times happen it can be very easy to break the pull cord.
If it does pull it a few times and see if there is any oil or gas blowing out of the spark plug hole.
If that s the case remove the spark plug and see if it will pull all the way out as it should.
Remove the spark plug and then pull the starter rope to see if the engine spins.
If you tipped the pressure washer on its side recently oil may have filled the cylinder preventing the engine from spinning.
If you can pull the rope the problem is in the pump.
A stuck unloader in the pump would usually cause this.
I am sorry you are having a problem with the pressure washer.
How do i get it lose.
Took a look at the pull rope assembly to see what was jammed or bent or broken.
This pressure washer had a stuck pull rope.
If the starter rope won t budge when you try to pull it the engine may be locked up or the recoil starter may have failed.
If you cannot pull the starter rope out i recommend pulling the trigger on the wand first.
One however can be a frustrating one for machine owners.
